Zuzovsky’s play LONG DISTANCE, developed through Soho Theatre Labs, premiered at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe.
Two young queers meet. They fall in love, have sex, fight, make up, and break up – and all through texting. These texts, like poetry, chart their unforgettable relationship.
LONG DISTANCE dives into the empty space between us and our desperate attempts to fill it up. A funny, heartbreaking new play about technological despair, the daily work of love, and the long distance that exists in all relationships these days.

“A hilarious, sexy, mysterious, and heartbreaking play, where silences, subtlety, and stares into nowhere say as much as the poetry of the powerful script. A world premiere for our times and by/for a generation of the internet age.”
★★★★★ Theatre Eddys
“Zuzovsky’s script and super performances elevate Long Distance from being just another long-lost love story into a protest cry for our times.”
